Counter-Swarm Defense
Cost-per-engagement→near zero
A sense–decide–defeat stack for coordinated autonomous drone swarms that puts the cost curve back on the defender’s side — pairing RF-silent detection with low-cost, low-collateral effectors for fixed-site and critical-infrastructure defense.
The asymmetry
Swarm defense is losing on economics before it is losing on engineering: defenders spend far more per interceptor than the drones cost, and an attacker can always add drones faster than a defender can add interceptors. This program attacks that asymmetry directly, driving cost-per-engagement toward zero rather than trying to win an exchange the defender is structurally set up to lose.
Sense
Detection is RF-silent. A defense that depends on hearing a drone talk is a defense against the drones that talk, and the ones that matter increasingly do not.
Defeat
Engagement is one-to-many rather than one interceptor per drone. That is the structural break with the current cost curve: coordinated swarms are answered as swarms, and the effectors are chosen to be low-collateral so they remain usable at the sites that most need defending.
The white space
The platform layer has consolidated — Anduril’s Lattice, Epirus’ high-power microwave. What that consolidation leaves open is exactly where this program sits: low-collateral effectors, passive detection, and the homeland and critical-infrastructure segment, rather than another command-and-control platform.
