The node
A four-channel retrofit node — pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen at ppb resolution, and temperature — clamps onto the lines already in the plant and streams continuously. Nothing is cut, and nothing waits for the next quarterly pull.
The measure
Corrosion rate is tracked in mils per year against ASME and ABMA limits, with remaining-useful-life and dollar-risk forecasting derived automatically. The question stops being whether the loop is in spec and becomes how much life is left in the metal, and what that is worth.
The record
The compliance record generates itself, inspection-ready and insurer-ready. The artifact an operator would otherwise assemble by hand, from someone else’s coupon results, is a continuous output of the system that produced it.
The warning
Dissolved-oxygen excursions and chemical over- and under-dosing raise alerts before pitting starts. The failure mode this program exists to remove is a corrosion event discovered after the fact, in a coupon, one quarter late.
